It is our mission to improve the lives of young people.
We do this by offering bespoke activities and awards for young people up to the age of 25 years, giving them the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.
“The Starfish Way programme has been incredibly beneficial for our son.. It gave him structure, purpose, and achievable goals that boosted his confidence and independence. The different sections helped him build routine and social skills in a supported environment. It’s been a huge part of his personal growth and a real source of pride for him and us.”
The Starfish Way is designed to help young people with additional support needs to build confidence and the skills needed to succeed in life.

OPEN GROUP
Our open group is set on developing the skills of young people, as well as getting their chosen Award.
We work on social and physical development whether it is outdoors or in public.
If the individual chooses to do their Duke of Edinburgh Award, there are four parts to it- Skills, Volunteering, Physical and Expedition. We work to make each section as enjoyable and fun as possible for our young people and by the end of it they come away with new skills for life.
Our group is nothing like school – we do not expect you to be writing or sitting at a desk all the time, the majority of what we do is outside. So, if you struggle to sit and listen, our The Starfish Way programme Is perfect for you.
